Privacy Policy

Last updated August 11, 2026

This policy explains what happens to your personal information when you use this website or send an enquiry through it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past, and it describes what the site genuinely does rather than every possibility a longer policy might reserve.

1. Who is responsible

The Private Chef Marrakech, operated by Chef Rachid Ahram in Marrakesh, Morocco, decides why and how the information described here is used. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.

2. What is collected

Only what you type into the enquiry form, plus the technical information any web server records in order to serve a page.

3. What is not collected

This website sets no cookies of any kind. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel, no social media button that reports back, and no profile is built about you. Because nothing is stored on your device, there is no cookie banner to dismiss.

There is no database behind this site. Your enquiry is not saved into one.

4. Why it is used, and on what basis

Your details are not used to send marketing. You will receive a reply to your enquiry and nothing else unless you ask for it.

5. Who sees it

Your enquiry is delivered by email to the chef and is read by him and, where an event requires it, by the team working on that event.

It is never sold, rented or traded. It is not shared with anyone else except where the law requires it.

6. How long it is kept

7. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to have its use restricted, to receive a copy in a portable form, or to object to its use. Write to the address below and you will get an answer within one month.

8. Security, and where your data goes

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. Email between servers is encrypted where both ends support it, which is not something any sender can guarantee end to end - please do not put anything you would not want read by a third party into a contact form, here or anywhere else.

The chef is based in Morocco. If you write from the European Economic Area, answering you necessarily means your message is read outside it. Morocco is not the subject of an EU adequacy decision, so that transfer happens because it is necessary to respond to your own request.

9. Children

This service is aimed at adults and the form is not intended for anyone under 16. If a child has sent an enquiry, write to us and it will be deleted.

10. Changes to this policy

If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.

Questions about your data

Write to us about anything on this page - a request to see, correct or delete your information, or simply a question about how it is handled.
